Steamed Spare Ribs with Black Bean Sauce

In a bowl, mix the mashed fermented black beans, minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and water.
Place the spare ribs in a heatproof dish and pour the black bean sauce mixture over the ribs. Make sure the ribs are evenly coated.
Prepare a steamer and steam the spare ribs for about 30-40 minutes until they are tender and cooked through.
Check the water level in the steamer periodically and add more water if needed.
Once the spare ribs are cooked, garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
